Based in Leipzig, Graham Welsh works as a performer, arranger and teacher.
Since studying at Selwyn College, Cambridge and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London he has acquired a wealth of experience in all three fields. Professional engagements in Germany and beyond have reflected his interest in a wide range of music, from classical to jazz.
As a pianist he has accompanied countless instrumentalists, singers and choirs (including MDR Leipzig Radio Choir and Leipzig Opera) and has worked as a pianist on cruise ships.
As an arranger he has received commissions from the public broadcaster Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk and, more recently, from publishers Musica Baltica.
His professional portfolio is rounded off by his obligations as a private piano teacher and conductor of a school orchestra.
